Loopexx- World Peace & A New Release

Duo Loopexx are all about promoting peace and art, a 21st century to John Lennon perhaps? Well they’re very different in sound that’s for sure! The Austrian based duo unique project melting their separate musical pasts consisting of beatboxing and rock music into a beautiful message of respect, love and tolerance, trying to drive social change.

‘Here We Are, There We Go’ is their first single, based around the current refugee crisis. While charity is certainly always needed Loopexx couldn’t have appeared on the scene at a more relevant time. With political dissatisfaction all around us this band is setting an example of hope and reminds us that good music can do so much more than just please our ears.

A very important site for music and booze lovers

This site allows you to select the perfect beverage depending on the music you are listening to!

The process is simple, type in your musical choice and let the site concoct you the most suitable tipple for your tune.

The example is Johnny Cash and while I could’ve told you that you need something strong for that, this site actually has a nice little recipe:

“THE JOHNNY CASH”

  • 4 oz. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey
  • 4 oz. Honey

Combine in highball glass and serve. Stir quickly.

Booze…? Whisky

Protz music has the power to transport you into a world of bliss and you slowly drift away on his perfect composition.

The lack of lyrics in the music invites the listen to assume their own interpretation of the heavenly sounds.

Apple of My Eye – ‘Seven Tides’

Booze…Real Ale (From an independent brewer)

These guys deliver the very best of Folk. Go on a journey with them and get lost in their world trhough their story-telling style lyrics. You won’t be able to resist moving your feet…maybe have that ale first!

Lowly – ‘Stones In The Water’

Booze? An artisan cocktail or some variety.

Delivering a stunning set at Berlin Music Week in September (Nordic by Nature stage), the band have confirmed their first London show will be at the JAJAJA Club Night at The Lexington on October 30th.

Driven by a crashing rhythmic force and insistent synth-lines ‘Stones in the Water’s lyric draws you into an almost mythical, shadowy description of nature: mysterious stones in water and tongues that glow in the dark.

Shane Thomas – ‘Mrs Matisee’

Booze? Flute of expensive Champagne.

Shane is an extremely talented composer that needs little introduction. His music emits pure beauty, he is undeniably a genius! The talented soul was inspired to write the track after seeing a painting by Henri Matisse. He was so taken with the beauty of the painting that he decided to compose a piece of music about it.

Simply amazing!
